our mission
Paw Print Hearts Animal Rescue of Tampa, Florida was established in June 2014 after spending time at our local county animal shelter and discovering the volume of dogs being abandoned at shelters in Hillsborough County and other Florida counties. Every day, good and healthy dogs were being killed in these high-kill animal shelters due to overpopulation. Feeling that more could be done, Paw Print Hearts was started. The funds we raise go towards the dogs within the rescue, some need more medical than others, Training, some are in boarding, but most are in foster homes while waiting for their forever home. 2024 we will have saved our 2000th dog!
We are a volunteer-based rescue and are always in need of fosters and volunteers.
We are in constant need of foster homes to allow us to save more dogs and puppies. Please consider being a foster home for a needy dog or puppy. We are always seeking financial donations to allow us to provide more care for our dogs. One hundred percent of all donations are used to benefit the dogs and puppies.
Paw Print Hearts Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
